Your Stamps

In May we received a thank you letter for all the stamps we have been sending to the Charity 'Invalids-at-Home.' and they are very appreciative of our continuing support. They have now written to us to say they have re-launched themselves as 'Independence at Home' to reflect their shift in emphasis from dependence (invalid) to independence. Included in the letter is a report which shows that they have merged with another charity and acquired not only its clients, but also its assets, to provide more grant-making ability in the future. Here is a quote from their letter;

I would like to thank the ladies of the WRVS so much for your continued interest, and also for the stamps which are sold and the proceeds used for making grants to people in need. We are very grateful for your kindness to all those who come to us for help.
